Real Voice Interviews respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices.

  • Analytics and advertising providers, currently Google, which receive usage data as described below. They never receive your name, email address, or any interview content.

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

If you cancel your account, we deactivate the account rather than immediately deleting it in order to preserve survey and interview data integrity. If you want your data fully deleted, contact us directly using the information below.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

  • Password protection: passwords are never stored in plain text and are stored using salted, one-way cryptographic hashing.
  • Secure sessions: account sessions are protected using signed protections built to reduce the risk of tampering.
  • Request protections: We use built-in protections against common web attacks such as forged form submissions.
  • Ongoing safeguards: we apply security updates and operational controls to keep the service reliable and protected.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Access or receive a copy of your personal data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of personal data, subject to legal exceptions.

8. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. We may also use Google Ads to advertise the service and to measure which advertisements lead to sign-ups and purchases.

Cookies we set

Google Analytics stores first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<stream> in your browser. They contain randomly generated identifiers used to recognize a returning browser and to group page views into a single visit. They do not contain your name or email address. We also use a session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in; that one is not used for analytics or advertising.

What we send to Google

  • Pages viewed, page titles, and how you arrived at the site.
  • That an account was created, and the method used to create it.
  • That a contact form was submitted.
  • That a purchase was completed, with its amount, currency, and order reference.
  • The cookie identifiers described above, and your IP address, which Google uses to derive approximate location.

We do not send your name, your email address, your interview questions, candidate responses, or any report content to Google. Completed purchases are reported from our servers as well as from your browser, so that a sale is still counted if you close the tab immediately after paying.

Consent

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland have analytics and advertising storage denied by default. No analytics or advertising cookies are written for those visitors, and because the server-side purchase report depends on those cookies, it does not run for them either.

We do not sell your personal information. If you are a California resident, note that using advertising cookies to measure or personalize advertising may be treated as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out at any time using any of the choices above.

How long analytics data is kept

Google Analytics retains event-level data according to the retention period configured for our property, after which it is deleted from detailed reporting. Aggregate statistics may be retained for longer.

9. Third-Party Services

Our service may rely on third-party providers that process data on our behalf. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

These providers currently include (non-exhaustive):

  • Heroku for application hosting and infrastructure.
  • Mailgun for transactional email delivery.
  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Cloudflare for DNS and edge/network services.

Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
